Creating memorable takeaways for conferences
Conferences are full of fast moving discussions, expert talks, and group workshops. The organisers wanted a way to capture the main ideas as they happened, gather the key ideas from the group table working session, and turn everything into a clear, handy booklet for the people who attended.
To respect the privacy of the participants and the sensitive nature of the healthcare discussions, only selected details of the final visuals are shown here.
Capturing the live talks: I sketched each presentation live on my iPad while the AV team projected my work onto the main screen. I turned complex health topics, data, and stories into clear visual summaries that were easy for the audience to follow.
Summarising the group "aha" moments: During the workshop presentations, I gathered key insights from each table and brought them together into one large visual summary, showing the collective vision emerging across the room.
Created a visual takeaway: After the event, I created a digital booklet by combining the live visuals with text summaries from the client. They then sent this to everyone who attended, giving them a useful visual record of the day's key points.
